Role Description and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data stakeholders to support and operationalise resilience frameworks and policies.
• Elevate data consumer awareness regarding data use principles and protection responsibilities.
• Drive the proactive identification of data risks and strategies for risk reduction.
• Identify and catalogue critical datasets for essential business services.
• Ensure the registration of crucial metadata into the firm's Data Catalog.
• Certify authoritative sources for data processing, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Perform quality assurance on data quality controls and register systemic issues.
• Establish monitoring for data transfer timeliness and completeness.
• Develop materials for governance committees, focusing on data management and quality KPIs.
• Facilitate data consumer communities in adopting effective data processes and controls.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in metadata management, data quality, and stewardship.
• Familiarity with structured and unstructured data models.
• Experience with web Servers (Apache, Nginx, MS-IIS) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Sybase) is beneficial.
• Programming skills in Python, PHP, or Javascript are desirable.
• Understanding of complex application workloads (ETL, ELT).
• Ability to create comprehensive functional and technical documentation.
