PMO Consultant - Energy/Utilities, CAPEX, OPEX, Finance (Contract)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £ Market Rate (Inside IR35)

  • £ Market rate (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)
  • London (Primarily remote, occasional travel to other sites likely to be required) - Must be UK Based
  • 6 months

My client is an instantly recognisable firm who urgently require a PMO Consultant within the Energy/Utilities/Oil and Gas sector and proven experience of working on large scale Programmes with expertise in Finance to analyse and manage the budget, with a strong understanding of CAPEX, OPEX and ideally TOTEX.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a PMO Consultant within the Utilities/Energy/Oil & Gas sector(s)
  • Previous experience of working specifically with a Finance Division/Programme of a large, complex organisation (ideally with expertise in Finance Control)
  • Strong understanding of CAPEX and OPEX around budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proven experience of forecasting and tracking significant budgets (c£15million or more), with expertise in providing analysis and reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management skills

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of TOTEX around budgeting and forecasting in major Programmes.
  • Immediate availability
